Jennifer Lee - a Resilient Mindset plus a Book Deal with Chris Voss

Jennifer Lee immigrated to the US from South Korea in the late 1980s. She tragically lost her father when she was five years old and then her grandfather to cancer two years later. Financial hardship followed, and Jennifer's mum worked seven days a week for up to 16 hours a day to support the family.

It was a hard start. But it inspired Jennifer's work ethic and commitment to pursuing a career in Biotech, which stemmed from a quest to learn how cancer affects the human body.

Jennifer is a hugely successful entrepreneur and has had a remarkable career. She invests in women-led companies, holds positions on multiple boards, including 'How Women Lead' - and most recently, she's about to launch a book, co-written with 'Never Split the Difference' globally renowned author, Chris Voss.

This episode explores:

• Jennifer’s journey as an immigrant and the importance of resilience.

• Networking & Mentorship

• Empathetic Leadership

• Investment and funding for women-founded companies

• Innovation in life sciences.
